The Master returns! After smashing it for us this spring on the Funktion 1, Kenny Dope is back in Vancouver.

The three-time Grammy nominee gate-crashed the charts with his single Bucketheads 'The Bomb! (These Sounds Fall Into My Mind)' in 1995 and hasn't looked back since. From chart-topping Masters At Work & Nuyorican Soul collabs with Louie Vega, to solo production work for Ludacris, Shaggy, Jill Scott, Wu-Tang, Luther Vandross & Damian Marley, to remixes for Michael Jackson, Nina Simone, Bjork, Daft Punk & Chromeo -- Kenny continues to shape the sound of music today. POSH:funk presents Nic Furlong, Fump, Cayas, Chris Fitz.
fter two brilliant all day sessions in september to finish off the season in style on the terrace, POSH:funk are back in the basement with their monthly residency gig.

We have 4 top djs playing on the night, 2 from wexford one from carrick and one from waterford. The opening slot on the night goes to local man Chris Fitz who is a resident for just groove, and is no stranger to POSH:funk either, he finished off the second last... all day session in september and rocked the basement. The next dj on the bill is Bazz Lambert (cayas) from wexford. This will be the second gig that bazz has played for us, and we look forward to hearing his lovely tech house sound, which has inspired him to start his own record label loca music. The next dj to take to the decks is a well known carrick head Peter Mcgrath or better knows as FUMP, fump has always supported the waterford music scene as long as i can remember and has fantastic dj as well, this will be his first time playing for POSH:funk and we are really looking forward to hearing what he is going to do. The headline act on the night is POSH:funk resident Nic Furlong, Nic is fresh off playing at the second last all day session which is absolutely rocked as per usual, with some uplifting tech house beats which had everyone dancing for the whole of his set, be sure to expect more of the same from Nic.

Thats the full line up for out next gig in the basement, doors are at half 10, and admission is just 5 euro, hope to cye all there to rock it out with us :)
