We’ve got Breakdance Battles as well as MC Battles. If you’d prefer to just listen to some good music and relax there will be plenty of gigs in various bars around town as well as workshops for young and old!

Great House Music night this Saturday in Waterford.

Saturday April 9th RePublik continue to showcase the local talent we have in Waterford with Ado, Andy O'Donoghue & Austin Larkin joining RePublik's Warren Sauvage at The Basement in what promises to be another superb night of music for RePublik.

Warren Sauvage.
Warren is one of the most established Djs in Waterford through his various residences and promoting over the last 11 years. He has been at the forefront of the local scene ...for over a decade now and has not only supported with some of worlds best Djs but also brought them to Waterford to play host at several venues. He has been involved in the local dance music business for a long time now and is as well known for his events as his DJn these days. After co-founding RePublik in 2005, he has gone from strength to strength and whether its a deep set or a rocking tech-house set, Warren always delivers.

Ado (Aidan O'Sullivan)
Ado began DJn in the mid 90s whilst been a regular at the Metroland and Roxy, where he first got the House music bug. His blend of funky and deep house has seen him rock several dance floor since in various venues around the city. After a few years break, Ado picked back up again late 2009 and last year in 2010 played more stellar set's including support to Fred Everything and the 5th birthday Rooftop party for RePublik. This will be Ado's first outing of 2011 and are looking forward to once again catching his unique style of house grooves.

Andy O'Donoghue
Andy has been around the local dance scene for a long time now and his recent venture into the production side of things has seen his stock rise even further with mighty fine productions such as his release on Pesto Records 'Kick Back' which has been a huge hit with local and worldwide clubbers. Andy has been playing gigs since the early 00's in venues such as South, and recently supporting Jimpster for PoshFunk and Marshall Jefferson in The Venue has proved what a capable DJ Andy is. All at RePublik are looking forward to seeing more of Andy and his productions in 2011 for RePublik.

Austin Larkin
A relative newcomer to the local DJ scene, Austin has still been in and around dance music for a long time now. Austin has played several quality gigs the last year or so and never fails to impress his blend of tech house and techno. Austin is resident DJ for local club, 808 and has already put in some superb performances for RePublik in the past. Now studying Music Technology in Limerick, Austin continues to gain the notice of the local clubber and expect to hear and a see a lot more from Austin in the coming months.
